The sun MUST surrender to the darkness each and every day so that the next day is born.

In the creation story of the Old Testament / Torah, ALL was "dark and void" FIRST!

"And the earth was waste and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep: and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."  ~ Genesis 1:2 Torah

"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things." ~ Isaiah 45:7

It sure appears to me that the ancient repeatedly reminded us that God / Spirit / The Creative Force LIVED and EXISTED and CAME FORTH from the darkness...
